Terms

HOW TO BOOK:

  1. Please fill out the booking form online.
    Alternatively you can email granary@talktalk.net or phone 01225 862450 to provisionally reserve your dates.
  2. Weekly from Friday to Friday.
  3. Print the Booking Form and post with a deposit of £150. Cheques made payable to "Peter Hodkinson" (address on booking form). Please read Booking Conditions below.
  4. Confirmation will be sent on receipt of deposit. If for any reason the deposit is not received within 10 days the reservation will be cancelled.
  5. The balance of payment requested no later than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Directions and other details will be sent on receipt of final payment.

BOOKING CONDITIONS:

  1. Once your booking has been confirmed by us, a contract is made and you are responsible for the full cost of the holiday. If you cancel and we manage to re-let we will return all monies less £50 administration costs. All monies paid should be claimed back from your holiday insurance should we be unsucccessful in re-letting. We STRONGLY recommend that you cover your holiday with an insurance policy, as should you have to cancel you will be held liable for the entire booking value.
  2. Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy on our website, we can accept no liability whatsoever for any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, or for any matter in any way connected with or arising out of the publication of the information. Please read the ‘Tariff’ section very carefully and remember to check all prices and facilities before making your booking. All prices are in £ GBP sterling.
  3. If a hirer has a complaint, it must be made to us during the stay, otherwise it will not be entertained.
  4. We reserve the right to refuse entry to or repossess the accomodation at any time if it is considered that the occupiers are unsuitable for any reason.
  5. The units are primarily let to family/attached parties up to the number of persons stated. Those arriving with 'extras' risk refusal.
  6. The holiday period starts from 4.00pm on the booked day of arrival and we ask for the accommodation to be vacated by 10.00am on the morning of departure.
  7. You are responsible for the accommodation and its equipment whilst in occupation and it is expected that it will be left in a clean and tidy condition on departure otherwise an excess cleaning charge may be incurred.
  8. Breakages. We currently operate a trust policy whereby it is your responsibility to replace/pay for any damages or report to the owner/agent before your departure and payment left.
  9. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to personal effects, baggage, motor cars etc. Cars are parked on the premises at the owners’ risk.
  10. Use of any facility is done so at your own risk.
  11. If for any reason beyond our control we have to cancel the holiday arrangement we will refund all monies received and any further liabilities for either party will cease.
  12. Bed linen, excluding bedding for cots, is included in the hire charge. The beds are made up prior to your arrival. Please bring all bedding for cots and if you have young children please bring their waterproof under-sheets. Towels are also provided, please bring your own beach towels.
  13. Deposit is payable on booking, with the balance due six weeks before the start of your holiday. If you are booking with your holiday less than six weeks away, we ask you to pay the full amount.
  14. Mini breaks are available certain times of the year.
  15. No pets and no smoking.

ACCESS STATEMENT:

  • Parking is on a gravel driveway to the front of the building. One space per unit is available. Additional parking can found down the road or at the cathedral car park 2 minutes walk away.
  • Entering the either property there is an automatic illumination to ease location of light switches etc.
  • Kitchen has modern work surfaces, kitchen cupboards with modern ceramic hob(Forge) /induction hob (Granary) and oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, first aid kit, torch, toaster and cordless kettle together with all other cooking utensils, crockery, china and glasses.
  • Washing machine and tumble drier are provided in the utility room for each apartment.
  • The vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron are stored in utility room for each unit.
  • Underfloor heating on all levels. A log stove is supplementary in Forge living area and seen as a cosmetic complement to winter evenings.
  • FREE broadband access available for people bringing there own computer/laptop. This is for reasonable browsing useage and not for heavy downloading such as movies and online gaming.
  • T.V with teletext facilities, Freeview and DVD player, both have remote control (NB. limited digital programmes until the annalogue switchover!) Both apartments can link the HiFi to your iPod or other mp3 player.
  • The Old Granary is situated away from the main high street in St Davids, yet still in close proximity to the shops, cafes and restaurants.
  • Some mobile phone networks have coverage in the property.
  • During the summer months, many coastal shuttle buses run with varying routes. Buses to and from Haverfordwest – 15 miles, Fishguard – 15 miles. Nearest train stations are Haverfordwest and Fishguard.
